Refunds

Eligibility

You may request a refund for a sitting we cancelled, for a sitting you cancel in time, or when we fail to deliver the letter that belongs to that sitting. Fees displayed on the rates page are not charged until we confirm; unconfirmed requests need no refund.

Timeframe

Cancel at least forty-eight hours before a remote sitting, or seventy-two hours before a desk appointment, for a full refund of the sitting fee and any deposit. Later cancellations receive a partial refund of fifty percent if we have not started intake reading. After intake reading has begun, the deposit is kept and the remainder is refunded only if we have not held the hour.

Full or partial

Full refund: we cancel, or you cancel inside the window above, or the letter never arrives within ten working days of the sitting without a reason we explained. Partial refund: late cancel after intake, or a sitting cut short by our technical failure after at least thirty minutes of work—then we refund the unused portion on a time basis.

Non-refundable

Time already spent on a drop briefing that was delivered before the window. Letters already sent. Same-week desk deposits once we have refused another collector for that slot and you no-show. We do not charge for unread comics or artifacts; those are not our goods.

Process

Write to info@scriptdeckbase.world with the sitting date and the email used on the request. We confirm the amount in writing, then return funds by the original transfer method where possible, otherwise by bank transfer to an account you name.

Processing time

We start the return within ten working days of agreeing the amount. Banks may take longer.

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposits, no-shows

You may reschedule once without fee if you give forty-eight hours’ notice. A second change is treated as a cancellation unless we agree otherwise. Deposits of fifty percent hold same-week desk appointments. A no-show without notice forfeits the deposit. If we no-show, you receive a full refund and a new slot if you still want one.

Work already started and materials

If we have already read your issue list, that work is not reversed by a refund of the remaining fee. We do not buy materials for sittings, so there is no materials exception beyond the time already used. We do not offer physical products, shipping, or print runs, so those refund models do not apply.

Exceptions

If illness or a civil disruption in Thailand prevents a desk appointment, we reschedule without penalty or refund in full if you prefer not to wait. Statutory rights under Thai law remain.
