The desk

Three readers, one blotter, mystic-multiverse hours.

Script Deck Base started as a Saturday table in Bangkok for people who had bought Doctor Strange limited-run NFT comics and then could not say which cover they owned. The table became a desk with letters, not a shop.

Why the desk exists

Licensed Marvel digital comics arrive with edition caps, withheld blocks, and cover names that sound like metals. Collectors in Thailand often wake to a finished Pacific window. The confusion is ordinary: a readable Doctor Strange (2023) issue sits in the same folder as an Eye of Agamotto artifact and a Mightys figure. We formed the desk to separate those objects in language a person can keep.

We are not a publisher, not a marketplace, and not a studio. We read credits pages, drop notices, and the collector’s own list. When a sitting needs story rather than stamps, Arun takes the hour. When a wall or showroom is the problem, Lila does.

How we work

Intake first, sitting second, letter third. We refuse account passwords. We will not pretend a consultation is an appraisal for insurance. Thailand evening slots are kept for drop-week briefings; weekend mornings are kept for reading-order work. The address on the footer is the correspondence desk; remote sittings are the majority.

Values that actually change a session: we name withheld copies before we name secret rares; we keep Clea and General Strange in the plot notes instead of treating every file as a trophy; we stop at eight issues so the letter stays usable.
