Readable issues beside the Eye of Agamotto: two objects, one Sanctum
A fully readable Doctor Strange comic and a closed-eye artifact are not the same kind of object. Mixing them on one ledge without labels confuses guests and owners alike.
The Eye of Agamotto, in the artifact line we see in intakes, comes closed, open, or animated. It is a display object. It does not contain Doctor Strange (2023) #8. Collectors still drop it into the same folder as readable issues because both arrived in a licensed Marvel channel and both wear mystic gold.
Lila’s showroom hour exists because guests—and owners—cannot tell the Sanctum story when a figure, an eye, and a comic share one unlabeled ledge. The plan is plain: runs together in reading order, wrappers of the same issue stacked or omitted, artifacts on a separate ledge with captions that say what the object is. Physical prints of covers can hang as prints; they should not be filed as extra editions.
Mightys Strange is a stylized figure from mixed-hero boxes. Inventories that leave it inside a comics list make the shelf look larger than the run. We isolate it. You may still like it. It still is not an issue.
If you only want someone to admire the gold, this is the wrong desk. If you want the objects to stop lying to you about what you can read, request a sitting and send photographs of the current ledge.
